Enough said!

Referrals went through Dec 8, 2005

Just wanted to update everyone on the referral status. Looks like we have until at least March or April before we here anything! On a lighter note, Todd and I will be heading to Charlotte this weekend with our friends for the Panthers game!! This should be really fun!!

Our beautiful pillows from Abby!

We just fell in love with our pillows that our friend Abby had made for Allie. They match her room perfectly. Referrals only went up to Nov 30. Yep, it has taken China 1 months to do 4 days of applicants. Well at least we have our pillows to cheer us up! Thanks again Abby and Michael.

Our sweet puppies

Jessie's puppies are now 10 wks old and are ready to go. We are really sad because they are soooo sweet. The boys have named the boy M&M and the girl Reece. What cutie pies!!

More pics! News flash! Referral were only up to Nov 25. Yep, it has taken China a whole month to refer 4 days worth of people. Excuse me while I go cry!

pics and I am trying to get those downloaded. This is Mrs. Harris, what a wonderful person and so talented. I know she put her heart and soul in our blanket. Thank you soooo much!!

I received a call last night from my 100 good wishes quilt maker, Ellen Harris. She said, "Tara your quilt is ready" She sounded so excited! She said she fell in love with the quilt. I can't wait to see it. The boys and I will pick it up tonight at 5:30.

The most amazing thing happend to me tonight. I only have one witness and it was Brian. I have been trying to get the algae out of our pool. The chemical we used made a lot of foam in the pool. As I was adding shock to my pool I looked down and to my amazement I saw the letters ALLY in a perfect row. My jaw dropped and my eyes filled with tears! I told Brian to look and tell me what he saw. He said "mom, that spells Allie's name! He couldn't believe it either...I had gotten the call about the quilt being ready 1 hour earlier!!!

Keeli, Brian and Dalton

Dalton and Brian were able to spend some time Keeli. She is 4 and is sooo cute. They had the best time with her.

Dalton and Brian spotted these lady bugs on our trip to the Animal Kingdom! They had to have their picture with them!

Thanks for finishing our update Mrs Katy! We will send off our renewal of our 171-H today. Wow! I hate sending that check off!

CCAA has updated their site. The cut off is Nov. 14. So we still have these families in front of us. Nov 15-March 14. I hope we will get our referral by March of 2008.!! We had a wonderful 4th! We can't wait to share the next 4th with our little Allie.

Well this is my first post on my new website. We have now been waiting for little Allie for 15 months. There is no end in site it seems. Families that are just now receiving their referrals completed their paperwork in Nov 2005. Our paperwork was completed in March of 2006. We still have a wait in front of us but we get closer with each group of babies that meet their new family.
