Cut off Feb 28 2006

I can't believe we are into March!! We will hopefully see our baby's face in a few more months. We had an awesome Christmas. We took the boys to Washington DC to tour the museums and to see the Redskins play the Eagles. It was freezing cold but really fun. We are wishing everyone a Happy New Year!!

Congrats to my hubby for making Fire Fighter of the year!! I'm so proud of you. The cut off date for this month is Feb 23. That means we have 20 days worth of families in front of us. The latest guess is we will get our referral in March!!

Our 3rd homestudy was completed today. Our social worker said she felt in her bones that we would be in China in the spring! Referrals should be coming out soon so I will post a cut off date soon!

What a fun 2 nights worth of Halloween! We started Friday night out by meeting the family at KFC and filled up on Chicken before heading out. We got tons of candy. Then Saturday night we had our annual hallowscream event at the house. This year we enclosed the front porch and had all kinds of scenes set up. We had the mad butcher and dracula and even had Michael Myers. It was fun. Glad its all done cause that will wear you out!

The "Allie" car seat

I fell in love with this car seat when I first saw it. Then my eyes popped out when I saw that the name of this car seat was "Allie". Its from Britax and a really good quality car seat. No word on the cut off date for this match of referrals. I will post that as soon as I hear something! Better head on over to EBAY and bid on this car seat!! Take care!

Fair Fun/Cut off Feb 15, 2006

What a fun night at the Chowan County Fair. We ate tons of junk food and yes I got sick on one of the rides but I didn't let that spoil my fun!! Happy Fall everyone!

Referrals arrived at a record 22 days from the last batch. Could this be a sign of a speed-up?? We shall see!

We had a blast fishing with George Munden on the Sea Hunter. We caught about 30 Spanish Mackrel. Thanks George!

Cut off is January 25!

The wait continues to grow and each day that passes there is a numbing effect that sets in. Now when I here about the few days that the CCAA has gotten through I dont cry any more. I'm just numb! I now have a 13 and 9 year old and think "What are you thinking bringing a baby into your life" Well let me stop pouting. I think its because I miss my boys. Brian is at camp and Dalton is with his grandparents. I miss them a lot.

January 20th is the cut off!

So for the mean time Jessie will still be my baby girl! There is an early rumor that next month will include a lot more days! Hang on everyone.

Wanted to share this pic of this precious little baby! We had an awesome time at the Nascar Race in Richmond last weekend. It was cool because we were able to go down in the pits to see some cars up close. Brian had is picture taken with Greg Biffles pit crew and I had mine taken with Jeff Burtons crew! We will be in Charlotte for the all star race May 17. Stay tuned pictures to come!

Cut off for this month is January 9th. China adoption forcast is predicting us to get our referral in November. Something in my gut tells me things may speed up after the Olympics in August and that we will be in China for Christmas!

It appears that the cut off date for this months referrals is Jan 4 2006. Finally we are in 2006!

Well it looks as if the cut off may be Dec 27, 2005. My prediction is they are going to continue to do 7-10 day batches from here on out. That being said I am predicting our referral around November 2008. Hang on everyone!
